Greetings and welcome to Sparky's blog and what's happening at ACTS Entertainment. I'm extremely thrilled to share our newly completed website. Kudos to my web designer, Misty Hover (www.mistylinc.com) for a job well done. I especially like my new logo.

Summer is finally upon us. Sparky leaves in the morning for Clown Camp at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. This is an event that everyone should experience once in a lifetime. At last count there were 181 students registered and there is a waiting list! I've been extremely blessed to be able to serve on staff the past few years. The days are long and filled with plenty of laughter. Students choose their areas of study and the range is very diverse. Some will choose physical types of clowning, balloon classes, face painting classes, juggling, hospital clowning, hospice, music, movement. You name it, we probably have a class in it! My classes focus around educational clowning.

If you haven't been there yet, check out the new Calendar on the ACTS Entertainment website. Many of the events listed are "public events" meaning everyone is welcome to attend. Every Tuesday night during June and July, 5:30 - 8:00 PM, you'll find us painting faces at Jordan Creek Mall. Occasionally we'll even through a balloonist into the mix. The last Tuesday of each month January - October we'll have 2 face painting artists at Valley West Mall. I've been receiving calls for bookings nearly daily so keep watching the calendar for updates.
